Registration & Fees



PLEASE, READ CAREFULY

The REGISTRATION SYSTEM is the same for all participants to SCAR, Open Science Conference and/or COMNAP. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BE REGISTERED USING THE REGISTRATION SYSTEM. Please note that if you have already filled the Pre-Registration form for abstract submittion to the OSC (on the OSC section tab), you must register now using the REGISTRATION SYSTEM (as Pre-Registration was only intented for abstract submittion and wasn´t the formal registration).

The PAYMENT PROCEDURE is ONLY FOR Open Science Conference participants (as no SCAR or COMNAP activities are charged, only Open Science Conference participants should use the payment procedure). With the payment procedure, you can pay for your or others participation to the event and the event dinner.

Please note that if you are going to participate to the OSC, you should use both the REGISTRATION SYSTEM (for individual registration) and then the PAYMENT PROCEDURE (to cover your and/or others participation fee to the OSC or OSC Dinner).

So basically:

a) ANY participant MUST be registered to the selected event/s, using the REGISTRATION SYSTEM (either they attend to SCAR, COMNAP and/or Open Science Conference)

b) ONLY OSC participants (Open Science Conference and/or OSC Dinner) MUST ALSO (appart of their registration, using the registration system mentioned) use the PAYMENT PROCEDURE.

OSC FEES

(Prices are given in u$s)


  • OSC Participant. The OSC Participant registration fee covers:

    • Access to all Conference sessions;
    • Coffee breaks;
    • Welcome Reception (02/Aug/10);
    • Conference bag;

      Please note that OSC Full Participant registration fee doesn´t covers OSC Dinner

      - OSC Full participant registration fee: $325 (early (*) ), $ 400 (regular (*) ), $ 450 (late (*) ) or Student $ 125 (early (*) ), $ 175 (regular (*) ), $ 200 (late (*))


  • OSC Accompanying Person. The registration fee for Accompanying Person covers:
    • Welcome Reception (02/Aug/10);
    • Coffee breaks;

      Please note that OSC Accompanying Person registration fee doesn´t covers OSC Dinner

      - OSC Accompanying person fee: $ 100


  • OSC Dinner : The registration fee for Accompanying Person covers:
    • Dinner (05/Aug/10);
    • Show;

      - OSC Dinner fee: $ 80




    Please note that "Pre-OSC meetings & workshops" ONLY participation is not charged. Please also note that if you are planning to attend OSC + Pre-OSC meetings, workshops, etc., you must only pay the OSC Full Participant registration fee



    * Payment dates:

    • Early: Before July 1st
    • Regular: Before August 1st
    • Late: Starting August 1st and on site.






Refund policy

OSC fees refunds requested until July 15 will be effective after the end of the meeting. We will refund the full amount paid less the bank commision for transferences. Request must include all the necessary information for make effective the refund transfer. No refunds will be considered after July 15.
